Default lower control arm bushings

So I have a rattle in the front end someplace...
2000 jimmy 4x4. All the front end stuff has been replaced when I installed the BDS lift.
I did not replace the bushings due to time issues. This rattle was there before i did the lift.
So could the bushings cause a rattle sound
And how arebthe bushings checked for wear
Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Just see if there is any cracks in the bushings. All rubber bushings will eventually crack. I upgraded to urethane on all my bushings. Made it alot tighter of a ride. Hope that helps ya out

Ratrod, that helps some, but still is there any way to check for movement or play.

Stop by tomorrow and I can take a look if you'd like. We can throw a jack under it quick and see if there is any play. I know my uppers had movement before I changed them
