my fault or murghy's law????
So last wkend I changed my drivers side front cv axle assembly because the shop I had taken it to over winter put a hole in the outer cv boot (I was lazy because it was cold). So today I noticed a lil gear oil leaking from the passenger side axle tube. My question is- is this do to somethin I did wrong or -Murphy's law next weakest part went? It's not a huge leak I drove probably 150 miles today n it did leak but I checked fluid when I got home and it was still good not noticeably down. Any input would really be helpful if it helps my truck is a 97 4door s10 blazer lt with 140000 on it she is a great truck thank you
How would I have damaged it if I never touched that side. I swapped the other side out. That's why I'm wondering if maybe its been bad but just never noticed

That's what I figured but wasn't sure. I figure ill do it tom the auto parts store has them in stock for 3.50$ so it is cheap just labor intensive figure bout 4-4.5 hrs. Now those locking clips that hold my cv shaft assembly into my front diferential are those ok to reuse will I have problems taking my shaft out n putting it back in? And I only changed my drivers side shaft my passenger side is old will that make a difference with me putting it back together with using that clip? I figure why not change both the drivers side seemed shot but I had to throw it back together because I had to work in the morn. It only took me 2.5 hrs to take the one off n replace it I just remember reading those medal rings needed to b replaced when u remove the axle
