New CV Axle play and leaking???
Here's a video link...
https://youtu.be/rSa_27R1uZ4
Vehicle info: 1997 Blazer 4x4 5 speed 2 door with 127k miles. I do not drive him hard or go offroad at all.
The passenger side CV was bad and also was leaking at the seal on the differential, so I replaced the seal and the CV on the passenger side. I figured I'd replace the driver side CV also, but I didn't put a new seal in because I already replaced the driver seal about a month ago.
I don't know if the old CV on the driver side had this much play at the differential, but it sure wasn't leaking. I put the new driver CV in today into the seal I installed about a month ago.
I'm pretty sure the new CV axle itself isn't the issue.
Is this type of play normal and do I simply need to replace the seal again so it forms to the new axle?
Is it the inner bearing on the front differential?
Any help would be nice.

This is embarrassing about me, but one time when I installed a driver side drive axle, I didn't get it in all the way and it leaked like crazy.
It was an aftermarket one and I removed it and decided to reinstall the original after cleaning and rebuilding the CV joint that had its boot rip. The original fit much better.
I also had to replace the output shaft seal.
