Default NP233 shaft

I have a 1996 Blazer with the 3 button TC, belive its called np233. The splines on the front output shaft on the TC and axle have gone bad so need to buy new and replace. Where can i buy those parts ?

That is part of the front driveshaft. Get a new driveshaft and it will mate right up to your transfer case.

As far as where to get the front output shaft, you will likely want to look around junkyards for the part. This isn't a typical replacement part and many places that sell rebuild kits are likely to refer to the dealer ($$$).

Well that sucks if i cant find a new front outoput shaft. Most likely no salvage yard here in Sweden has that part laying around. WOuld be if i found some in a US yard and got it sent here.

Other idea would be to remove the shaft and have it welded and then make new splines on it.

You could try contacting the eBay seller s10warehouse to see if he could part one for you.

That was the first place I looked, but they didn't show the output shaft in their table. Glad you found it.

Going to buy a used front driveshaft but need to know which ones fits my car. I have the 2dr Blazer and i guess the shaft from the 4dr is too long or is it the same ? Which years shafts fits my 1996 ?

Also is there a place that sells just the part that goes to the front output shaft on the TC or do i have to buy a complete driveshaft ?

Thx.
