Default Parking brake cable, OEM or aftermarket?

I have determined that my rear brakes will lock up due to the parking brake cable sticking. When I do not use the parking brake for a few days my rear brakes are fine. I have all new shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, drums and lubed the backing plate, yet it will lockup periodically.
So the question is. Should I be replacing the cable setup with OEM or can I use aftermarket? I heard that the aftermarkets are unreliable and want to know peoples experiences.

Bought Dorman cables for my Sonoma, the fitment on them was not good at all.
