They're sold by degrees and leaf spring width. For example, if you wanted to rotate your axle 3 degrees, you would need 3 degree shims, 2-1/2" wide.

Ok I got some numbers here I took with this magnetic angle finder..... Rear pinion angle degree is approximately 8.5-9° pointing up to transferase, the transferase yoke is at .5° down and my driveshaft is at 17.5° which I'm being told is way too much so what I'm thinking is if I get the driveshaft extended and get shims to change my angle I may be good, not sure though I don't know much about these angle and numbers. I really would like to drive my Blazer again 😭😭.

That's what I'm trying to accomplish, the conventional non CV I'm off maybe 3 1/2-4° so was hoping I could fix that with the shims as far as the driveshaft being too short cause the lift that was installed I was going to send it in to get extended cause it's in the transferase only about 1 1/2 the shaft shop told me needs a minimum of 3" into the transferase.

I don't four wheel much only if needed while I'm hunting but even then I use my side by side so Blazer will be parked at camp, so I really just need it to commute to and from work and whatever else in town driving.

If you're off 3.5 to 4 degrees, then 3 degree shims should get you close enough for it not to vibrate. Obviously, it still needs to be the right length.
The best shims are the steel ones that the center bolt actually goes through. You can get them from WFO Concepts (and probably other places).
