Default Power steering groan at about half turn when cold

I have started to get a slight groan from my power steering when turning the wheel and passing through one perticular point, about halfway.
After that point and before in the travel it is fine and only does this for the first few moments of driving on a cold morning when leaving my driveway, or after sitting for a long time at work.
After the first few turns and engine warm up it is gone.
I checked the fluid and it was in the full range but near the lower end so I added some fresh fluid and that did not make a difference.
What should I be looking at or suspecting is the cause?
Should I replace the fluid in the pump with a syphon and fresh fill?

Flush it. Here's first article I found on how.
Flushing Power Steering Fluid? - GM-Trucks.com
Process is correct. -turn wheel slowly- Including all the PS fluid alternatives.. {based on reading other forums, as well, Ford guys recommend Dexron V for rack & pinion, I dont know. Never needed it}

Still growls after that? Try 1/2 pint Lucas PS fix. Know THAT shuts up growl for a fact.
