ok here is my question i have a 96 blazer which my rear end blew on me and i got a newer rear end out of a 2000 blazer. the diffrecence is that the newer 1 is disc which i didnt care but now i have to buy rotors and calipers becasue i didnt come with my newer rear end. could i just switch everything like all the backing plates so basicallu will convert it from disc back to drum i dunn i need help sine its nice out i m gonna do it in a day because i dont want to mess around in the snow
If you could wait a bit, another member has a set of calipers/brackets for the rear for sale.
But to answer your question, yes, everything is available to purchase. Should be available at any Napa, Advanced Auto, Autozone or retailer of your choice.

ok how much would they want for the calipers and brackets. im also wondering could i switch my rear end that i have now to drum brakes without switching the rear end just the side backing platesand etc
You will need to remove the c-clips and the axle shafts themselves to swap the backing plates, but it all is the same on the end of the axle tube so everything should swap over just fine.
