Default rear diff gearing

hey i have a 2002 blazer ls 4x4. and im wanting to change the gearing in the rear end, im wondering where is a good place with a decent price on ring and pinion gears to do so. and what is recommened for gearing

what size tires are you going to run? and you do know having a 4x4 you MUST regear the rear AND front right? So take the prices you see and double it.

You can nab parts from Blazers from the junkyards if you pay attention to their RPO codes.

yeah thats fine, i wasnt 100 percent sure on that part, and ill be running 31x10.50r15 possibly 32s

Look in your glovebox. there should be a sticker inside that has a bunch of rpo codes. look for this sticker




look for codes like gu1,gu2.gu3,gt4. etc.
