I've got a 99 Jimmy, and the rear end is definitley on it's way out. I started calling around to see what the prices were going to be from a couple of my loca ljunkyards. The prices varried from $350-$600!

One place asked me the size of the ring gear..? Does that make a difference if the ratio is still 3.42's? Also, I found online about an hour away from me a GU6 G80 out of a sonoma. They want $250. Is it worth it?

the g80 is out of a zr2 it is the locker that gm used if you get the locker you better hope your ring gear is ok bc the ring gea thats on the g80 is not the same as the one in your blazer so you have to swap it g80s are a good choice for off roading i myself have been trying to find one but no luck as of yet for me bc they are hard to find
