Default Rear end replacement

I have a 2004 Blazer 2wd v-6. How difficult is it to change out the rear axle. I have a friend that can get me one for a good price but i want to know if i am better off hiring someone to do it for me or is it something i should be able to do myself.

U-bolts, u-joint bolts, remove the brake calipers, disconnect the shackles at the back, and disconnect the emergency brake cables and its free. There really isn't anything too difficult about it.
