Default rear lift... help

Ok so I got a 01 blazer 4x4. I just got some lifting blocks. I just realized the leaf springs are under the axle....

So I was wondering other than shackles what can I do??

Thanks in advance.

You could do a leaf over axle conversion. I believe that will give you about 4-6 inches of lift in the rear end, then you just have to figure out what to do in the front.

Not it would not be that much. More like 2-3" of lift. I'm going to be doing mine soon on my 03 if I don't find shackles to use.

You can use either shackles or an add-a-leaf. Flipping the axle under the leafs will get you about 5in. Thats what all the big suspension kits do like mine

Well for the front end, if you're really ambitious, you could do a solid front axle upgrade. Or you could get one of the aftermarket suspension lifts for the front end. IMO I would go with the solid front axle, much better than the IFS if you are going to do heavy off roading

Yea I've thought of the.solid front axle. But I'm lacking on the funds...

But I was looking online for any shops that might sell lifting kits for blazers maybe its just me but I couldn't find anything.....

The only things I found were torsion keys and a body lift..

yeah the only suspension lifts are 2, 5, or 6in. the 5 and 6 are expensive though

what are you trying to accomplish? more clearance under the vehicle? to run bigger tires?

if all you are looking for is to run bigger tires then just do a body lift. the cost is reasonable

if you are looking for clearance under suspension then do 2in shackles and a tbar crank
