Greetings
I have just purchased my grandfather's 1998 Blazer LS 4x4 with 130k on the clock and it is in dire need of new shocks. My mother also purchased an 01 blazer recently as well
I took her hitch off and threw it on my Blazer as I would like to do some occasional towing here and there.
Is there a decently priced replacement that would serve me well while towing? Also, what is the general consensus on helper springs? I see that summit racing has them for the rear leaves. I miss the way this truck rode when it was new, but I am not sure if the OEM replacement struts are alright since my Blazer did not come with a "towing package" from the factory.
Thanks

well the best thing for a good price would be get the Monroe reflex with load assist for the rear and then get the regular reflex for the front. i have them and they do great.

Yeah, I Just put the Reflex on the Front & still need to get the back but wow do these things add TOTAL control to some of our Wobbly blazers! They also ride a whole lot smoother than my factory 155,000 Mile Worn out Delphi Shocks!

I just replaced my factory shocks with the Monroe Reflex on all four corners. What a difference. Do some shopping for a good price. It took me some time to find a good deal.

Total cost $221 shipped
