I guess GM didn't just make a special steering box for the RHD market, as it's such a small segment.

The pics below is the steering box from mine...

It's got quite a bit of play, about 1.5" at the steering wheel. And the replacement from the breakers yard has the same. I thought I'd adjust it a bit, but the only adjustment is on the top of the box. There's no pre-load adjustment on the input shaft.

What I'd like to do is either figure out what other vehicles these are actually fitted to so I can source a new or recon one, or figure out how to do a rebuild...
