Default Right front vibration / pulsing?

2003 4-Door 4WD Blazer.

This truck has what seems like a pulsing vibration coming from the right front. It does increase with speed but turning left or right does not change it. It almost sounds like a short 'thump' for each tire revolution, sounding more like a steady drone as speed increases. I'll have to get a video of it to explain better.

There is just a slight bit of left to right play in the wheel when off the ground. Been to to mechanics three times and have been told 'looks like nothing is wrong.'

So far:
- Idler arm (original was sloppy)
- Alignment (was way off)
- swapped tires/wheels with other truck (not great but should have changed the noise)

A visual inspection doesn't scream anything at me. I'm used to diagnosing ball joints and wheel hubs since our other Blazer likes to go through those like nothing but this one doesn't seem the same.

It doesn't drive bad and only shakes a little at high speeds but the noise is aggravating.

Could this be as simple as a wheel bearing?

Could be a wheel bearing but you have to change the hub to fix it.Also check your brake rotors and pads out.

Looked at it tonight, the rotors seem okay and the pads look good. I'm just plain lost.

Going to have to get it in. Good thing we have a mechanic that I mostly trust.

Check your shocks as well, one of mine was making some noise/vibration (wasn't helping they were fully extended either and 1 had a bad bushing and had no rebound left in it)

I had that thought at first as well. All the shocks *seem* okay when tested by hand.

Thanks for all the replies.

Just to finish the story, it turned out to be hub/bearing and CV joint.
