Default Squeeky NOISE apon stops and starts

Hey I currently have a 96 jimmy and when approaching a stop, she seems to have a squeek when applying the brake and basically when the nose dives. Idk if it is the suspension or what but it is pissing me off everytime I stop and people can hear me from a mile away. Please Give Me Some Adivse Towards What I Should Do!

I'm having a similar problem with my '99 S10 Blazer. It makes a little squeaking sound in the passenger side front end area. I only hear it occasionally when approaching a stop. "When the nose dives", as you say. I'll be watching this thread for any suggestions. Thanks.

Have either of you removed the pads and applied any one of a number of anti-squeak compounds to the back surface of the pad to eliminate brake squeal from the equation? This may be the source of your problem.

Other than that, if it sounds like a bushing squeak, then maybe hit the bushings with some silicone spray to narrow things down. Hit the sway bar bushings on the frame as these can squeak if dry.

Happend to me once......the squeek was really loud......I Took the spray wand and stuck it in through my rim and cleaned the brakes really good and it stopped.
