yeah i wasnt sure what brand to pick, i just wanted to get rid of my fossilized stock ones, im at 99k miles now and they are all crumbly and crusty. good to know you like the energy ones, i saw them i could of bought those. they also had moog. good to know for the future. as for the top nut i went and got a pair of vice grips and that did the trick. plus a monster energy drink and some cursing. thanks for all of your help everyone ill report back with how it turns out.

alright, they are in and look good, and first test of shaking the vehicle produced no squeaks, so fingers crossed the problem is gone. if not, i guess its back to diagnosing again. as for the links, what setting do i torque the link bolt to?

my 2000 shop manual says 11lbs
