Sway Bar End Links

2000 Blazer 4x4 LT 4.3

New to front end and suspension work. How exactly do I check and replace end links for the front sway/stabilizer bar? Thank you. This site is such a great resource. My blazer has swayed as long as I can remember. The ride is still "bouncy" and the vehicle rocks and sways when I hit dips on the freeway or go over big bumps. I replaced all 4 shocks last year, which helped a bunch, but it still is quite noticeable. The wife doesn't like to drive it because it doesn't "feel safe" going down the highway. :)

RE: Sway Bar End Links

Basically take a look at them... The sway bar end links are not much more than a bolt, spacer, some washers and the bushings themselves. Typically, the bolt will break before the bushings wear out. It is fairly cheap to replace these with polyurethane bushings for improved response, but it won't be dramatic unless you have a broken end link.

Does the bolt need to be a certain torque?
