Hello everyone I have a 98 blazer 2dr 4x4 and I’ve been doing a rough country 2.5 inch lift as many have done on here before, my issue is I’ve gotten to my sway bar and I’ve replaced the bushings that’s go to the frame (driver side was missing the lower half so it didn’t wrap all the way around the bar) and now I’m onto the end links and for the life of me I can’t get them both to go in at the same time, there is no weight on the suspension both control arms are all the way down, and so I’m wondering if my sway bar is bent or damaged hence why my bushing would be really worn down and because of the lower control arm mounting whole definitely looks like it’s been rubbed on enough to make it odblong I will link pictures of my sway bar and of the holes, anything helps that you much (oh yeah one last thing I’ve tried mounting it with the sway bar mounted to the frame and with the sway bar unhooked from the frame and it can’t get it to work) From outside of bolt hole to outside of bolt hole
Try jacking up the lower control arms up to somewhat level. I am assuming you still have the torsion bars in. If not, still jack the lca up to almost level and see if the sway bar will work out.
I have my torsion bars and keys in, usually whenever I’ve done sway bar links I just relax the suspension by removing all of the weight ( like I currently have it) and I’ve never had to fight it, but I’ve also never done sway bar end links, but I’ll give jacking up the lower control arms a try tomorrow but it was just not lining up when I raised the sway bar up to the lower control arms and that’s what made me confused, anyways thank you for responding
