!!Sway Bar HELP!!
ok well guys my sway bar bushing is shot and i got the new bushings i never worked on sway bars before, how do i replace the bushings? do i take the stabilizer bars out and drop the sway bar or just pop the new bushings on?
Don't know what vehicle you're talking about, front or rear sway bar, year etc.
You shouldn't have to remove the sway bar, possibly just loosen the bolts on the bracket that holds it so it can rotate easier.
But basically you only have to soak the bolts/nuts in PB Blaster or whatever kind you use, undo the bolts paying attention to how they're situated on the bolt (what bushing, where in order - take a pic to refer to), clean the threads with a wire brush, slop some antiseize on the threads & reasemble them. I'm not sure of the torque on them though.

yep its a threaded washer, its the bushing on the driver side I got this truck used and there the orignal chevy (GM) made bushings and any ideas on moog bushings?
Moog makes a good product from my experience. I know that Advance also has these bushings and from what I have read they are a top quality brand as well and at least the ones near me keep them in stock. As soon as I finsh this post I am going to go buy them myself.
