Default upper balljoints

Ok, i have a 1995 Blazer 4WD and at 167,000 miles it's time to replace the factory ball joints. I was think of just taking a cutting tool and chopping through the rivots and then drilling out the holes, any other ideas on how to go about this?

I just drilled mine out. I used a 1/8 inch bit and worked my way up to a 5/16 after that I cold chiselled the rivet heads and it fell out.
