vibration between 40-45 mph
hey guys, i was looking through the old posts and saw a post where 2 people had a vibration around 40 or so mph. well lately i've been noticing the same thing. if you hold the pedal just right you get a pretty heavy vibration. i can feel it in the steering wheel mostly, but i think i feel it through the pedal also. if you take your foot off and put it back it will go away, if you accelerate it will stick around and i don't think i accelerate as fast. they didnt get an answer and i was wondering if anyone knew what this is. any help will be appreciated.

RE: vibration between 40-45 mph
One of your wheels may have thrown a weight and be out of balance. Thats the only thing I can tell you it might be. Does it get worse as you continue to accellerate?
It could possibly be a bad wheel bearing, or maybe a ball joint(not sure on that one). Thats all I can think of at the moment.

if it was my guess your alignment might be off but it could be a weight just like what he said ^

I think an alignment will usually just pull one way or the other, never had it vibrate on me. But then again I am not an all knowing genius either. My best guess would be either a wheel is out of balance or your ball joints. It could also be a idler or pitman arm I think.
