Default what is this??

alright so this is the high pinion Dana 30 that is going under the blazer soon. anyway i want to know what this part of it is for. it seems like a vacuum line hooks up to it but i don't know why. can anyone tell me for sure what this is and if it needs to be hooked up when i throw it under the blazer, i dont think so but you never know. also i haven't seen it on any other high pinion 30's that i've googled. thanks

What did it come out of? Could be a front axle disengagement much like what the IFS front axle in your truck has already.

it came out of an 89 jeep wrangler.

as you will see in the pics there are wires coming off the Vac line on the IFS? are these needed, because there are no wire hookups on the solid axle. anyone with any experience with this please speak up.
