what axle do I have

Default what axle do I have

This is accrualy for a friend but he has a '93 Jimmy 4X4 and wants to re gear it. what are the axles 10 bolt front and rear? are there different size 10 bolts that I have to worry about? thanks for your help.

easiest way would be to get the RPO numbers from the sticker in glovebox, and search on here for RPO decoder. It will tell you what the truck came with!

The RPO decoder will only tell you what gear ratio you have and if you have the locker or not...

Your front diff should be a 7.2" IFS it'll be either aluminum, or iron, use a magnet to find out for sure...

Also, you should have a 7 5/8" rear diff... I don't think there was any other options for that year...
