Default What a bad differential pinion looks like

Previous owner said he did not have any idea why the 4x4 did not work. He didn't even realize it was not working! Take a look at this pinion. Do you think this wen bad without him knowing it?

Had a good experience with a "seller" on Ebay. I can't remember there name but they had lots of Blazers and Jimmy's and good photos of all. I think I gave $200 for a low milage front diff 3.73. gears. It was NOT EASY to swap, but we are very happy with the Jimmy now!
