What Size Breaker Bar do you use for the Hub Nut? I bought a 3/4 drive 36" and now I'm looking for a deep socket 35mm 3/4 drive to go with it; which turns out is a bit hard to find around here.

I use a 36mm 1/2" socket and impact gun or a 1/2" breaker bar with a cheater bar.

I use a craftsman 1/2" socket wrench with a warranty for when/if it breaks, and a big *** piece of pipe. Works awesome.

36mm hub socket is whatcha need.

Ditto!
1/2" drive is all you need for anything you will park in your driveway.
.
Note that 36 mm is pretty much standard for hub nuts. Used same on Taurus Tbird and Bravada. I even used 1 1/4 pvc pipe for the cheater it worked great

War no doubt has a pro level impact. The $40 ones work great for most project but wont cut it on anything over about 150 ft lbs

The hub nuts on mine must be stuck on; I broke two 1/2 drive breaker bars.

spray with pb blaster and let soak for a little bit and if need be use a little heat from a propane torch. Axles nuts are locking nuts too, soo it will take a little force to break them free.

pettyfog you are correct with my impact gun, its good up to 650lbs, its only a 1/2" gun and i use it to crack wheel nuts on highway coaches

Time to revive an old thread, if anyone has any tips to getting the hub nuts off lets have em. I did one side a year ago and it came off fine, doing the other side now and so far I've broken two 1/2" drive breaker bars, I've used penetrating oil, tried freeze spray. Next up is I'm just off to borrow a 3/4" drive socket set from a farmer neighbour and try that. I don't have access to an impact gun. Might have to try heat as well.
