If you look at a few other posts going around most people get about 15-18 city and 19-28mpg, depending on the driving conditions, driving surfaces, driving habits, the maintence of the vehicle, and the drivetype (2wd/4wd). But on average I get 17-18 city and 22-25 highway and I have a 98 blazer 4dr 4wd automatic, stock.

There are an astronomical number of things affecting mileage. With my Bravada, I never got better than 18.9mpg, but I also never took long trips with it. Longest drive I took with it was when I moved and that was only 60 some odd miles with a loaded down truck. That was when I got the 18.9mpg. I would routinely show instantaneous mileage in the upper 20's when crusing down the thruway, but since I never just filled up, drove til empty and filled up right away again, my mileage dropped. That truck was also AWD and had the 3.73 gearing.

The state of the entire vehicle will either help or hinder it's efficiency.

Best ive gotten was 22mpg on the highway going through California. As i stand now i get about 15-17mpg city and about 18-20 highway, even with my larger tires.

wow, something must be horribly wrong with my blazer lol. No upgrades (other than CD player) and in town driving I get a definite 14mpg (top speed of 35) and on the highway I get 18mpg (65mph). Although I did find that driving at 55mph greatly improves my gas mileage to over 20mpg but the highway near me is set for 75mph and I tick people off enough going just 65mph lol.

Back when my Blazer was stock on the outside, and all I had was a Hypertech tune, I pulled 24MPG on the highway @ 75 MPH...

I haven't actually done a real/measured highway trip since I got the 30" tires and brushguard put on...

Around town, I average 15 MPG... If I really really really baby it, I can swing 17 - 20 MPG... But it's almost always bang on 15MPG... And I'm not really that.... Nice to the throttle, lol
