however if it is modified, it could be done...if you ever ride in it and it hits 170...ask him whats done to it..and if he says nothing, kick his **** because he's supposed to be your boy and hes lying to you. [8D]

well he just bought it.. It is stock but maybe its differnt then the other s2000 because he got the bran new one...

jimmy, those numbers are on the newest S2000....they actually get slower as they get older....the first few years were 130ish..

You see the problem is that if it was all stock then the tires are rated at 110 mph so they would have blown the tread off at them speeds.
