1.5" shackles

RE: 1.5" shackles
I have yet to get them. You don't need them, but the tbar crank gives you lift by flexing up the suspension. That means your shock is closer to topping out post tbar lift. I havn't felt any topping out in the back, but I would imagine they're close as well. I want to get +2 shocks in the near future.

RE: 1.5" shackles
Each full rotation of the bolt is .25" of lift....pretty sure.
.......Anyone gonna second me on that one?

RE: 1.5" shackles
Not all the time. It depends on the vehicle and the strength of the torsion bars. As they age, it could require more turns to get the same lift.

RE: 1.5" shackles
Yep...to get my 1.5' up front, I had to go 7 turns on the drivers side and 8 turns on the passenger. I suspect the weight of the brush guard affected the lift from each turn though..

RE: 1.5" shackles

RE: 1.5" shackles
Not necessarily, it is just easier on your tools and your muscles.

Jack underneath the front crossmember, just behind the plastic splash guard.

Cmatt, Pretty crazy, I'm basically in the exact position you are in. My buddy told me about the 1.5 t bar rise so I'm going to do that. he's ordering the 1.5 shackles So i'm also getting him to order in mine at the same time. AND planning on going with the Synergy 2" Body lift. What tires are you going with?if any?
