2003 S10 swaying in windy condtions
2003 S-10 blazer 4x4 2dr
Is there any way of improving the ride in windy conditions or is this the nature of the beast? I have heard of anti-sway bars(i know it has some), is there a specific "special" brand and will they help? The thing is a hand full sometimes in the wind, look like a drunk driver!! LOL..Sorry if someone else asked this question already, I looked for the search feature.

What you're experiencing is probably just due to the side profile of the vehicle (it's rather large and flat) coupled with a slightly narrow track width. In other words, just the nature of the beast.

If you're really bothered by the sway, you can look into putting on larger diameter sway bars...but your 03 has a sway bar front and rear. If they are both connected up properly and the bushings are still good....then there is really not much to do.

I was looking into some new shocks like Reflex from Monro or even some poly bushings for the sway bar fittings. What is your take?

Got some Reflex shocks front and back, and some front poly bushings. I will give a detailed report upon install! Thanks folks!!

Shocks will not really resist sway much. The poly bushings will help though.

Would maybe getting some wider tires help at all?..

I realize that the original poster is from a year ago but... I would also check the air pressure in the tires to be correct.
