Best Drop Kit????
i have an 88 Blazer 4x4 and I wanna drop it. I know most ppl lift a 4x4 but I like the dropped look better. Anyways I was looking around and it seems like DJM is the best quality. I want to do a 3"/4" drop so it sits like sport rake. I just need to find the right application for the drop. If any of ya'll could help me I would be very appreciative.
I just dropped my 4X4 3.5"-4" in front and 5" in the back. Used 4" blocks in the back and I ride a set of GABRIEL air shocks so when deflated gives me about 5" in the back. For the front, installed a pair of Nitro-Drop shocks, removed the torsion key bolt and block (for those of you who know how a torsion key works) and I have a friend of mine that built a plate, welded on the crossmember under the torsion key, and installed a bolt through that new plate...fully adjustable suspension in the front from 1"-6"...
Here's a link to the plate system used on my Blazer, but mine is homemade...
