[align=left]I recently bought a 2002 2 door Blazer (good price too, 8750 out the door with 54,000 miles). I was wondering what was the best way to get a 2"-3" drop on it. I was thinking 2" drop spindles in front and 3" drop blocks in rear. Is this a good method? Would this be all I need? And if so, how does the ride feel compared to stock? Any comments appreciated.

I think as long as the shocks are good for the length of travel, your ride will change minimally... A little rougher, but that's about it...
And please don't use the smallest font setting... Those of us with high resolutions on medium sized screens are gonna go blind, lol

The spindles would be good for a 2" drop on the front. They won't change your ride quality on the front because you're not touching the springs or shocks. I would stay away from the blocks though. 3" is kind of tall. It'll put way too much stress on your springs causing excessive axle wrap and spring failure. I'd reccomend springs for the back. A little more pricey, but definatly worth it.

Would you know the best place to buy rear springs? I couldn't find any for my blazer at stylin concepts, DJM, or Beltech. And thanks for the advice on not using lowering blocks.

I had 3" drop blocks back when I had my static drop and had no problems at all.

drop spindles for the front and buy the EXTREME REAR SPRING DIRECTLY FROM CHEVY they are a little pricy at 400 EACH BUT U WILL HAVE THE SAME RIDE AS A EXTREME THEN JUST ADD SOME BELTECH SHOCKS ON ALL 4 CONERS AND U WILL BE SET

You can probably get equivalent replacement springs from a local parts shop, for a whole lot cheaper...
