its going to depend on the backspacing and whether ur blazer is 4wd or 2wd.

that is very true, but i do know the similar year S-10 2wd that everyone loves to drop can take 18's just fine. i actually saw one today. stock hight and all, 18 inch and i think same size tire. fit inside the well and looked good.

The backspacing / Offset, as stated is the key. I have a set of 18X9.5's on the back of my 2000 2Dr/2WD with Goodyear F1's in 275/40ZR/18. But, believe it or not, the cross section on these tires is only 11". Which is well within the range of what will tuck. In a stock 2wd rear fender well you have about 13" from the inside of the fender to the back wall. You have to take into account for roll in turns but you can get a pretty big tire to tuck without cutting or trimming fenders. Most of your reputable adapter makers / dealers know what you'll need but research your wheels and tires yourself. You can even measure all of this yourself. Tucking front tires is more tricky and is usually where problems occur and that is due to turning with wider rims. Knowing the correct offset of your wheels and fitting your truck with the correct adapters up front is crucial.
