1997 Blazer are 235-75-15 ok instead of 235-70-15 ?

Default 1997 Blazer are 235-75-15 ok instead of 235-70-15 ?

got a deal on some new wrangler tires, just want to make sure these will fit properly first. this is a 1997 4 door blazer with 4 wheel drive,

235/75R15 are the larger size offered on the s-series (non-ZR2) trucks. They will fit no problem, however, your speedometer and odometer will be reading incorrectly unless you have the PCM tuned to the new tire diameter.

My truck came with 235 70 15 and I stuck on 235 75 15 and the speedometer is right on the dot. Maybe the old tires made the speedometer run fast, or maybe there are higher powers at work.

possibly off topic but.....i need new tires, what are stock sizes and how big can i go without any mods?
