Man, I've been looking for an hour and can't find the link for it. It was on s10 forum I think. There was a red 96 s10 blazer that had that style 1st gen wheel painted black. Looked alright, for sure something diffrent. Maybe someone else will chime in with a pic.

Apparently I spend too much time on s10forum. I knew exactly the thread it was in. Poor pic, but this is someone elses truck.

Good job Zeeke. I could have swore it was red with black, but that might have been a diffrent rim. now that I study it, it looks pretty good. I've always liked new model OEM rims on old models and vice versa.

Yeah, I still like the 1st gen 5 spoke 4x4 rims I had on my 98 Jimmy. It makes it look tough.

so the 1st and 2nd gen rims are interchangeable? i tryd putting my 96 4x4 parts truck rims (such as the rims in the pic below) on my 93 4x4 and it didnt really seem like they fit.bolt pattern was good but the studs didnt seem like they were long enough to get the lugs on safely enough.if the 96 rims will fit on a 93 that be great and save me a lot of money.can someone clear this up for me.thanks

1st gens had a larger hub bore than the 2nd gens. You have to mill out the centers of the wheels some to fit right on a 1st gen. There's a good how to on it on youtube.

Don't have a link. There was a post on s10forum about it several months ago and someone posted a link back then.
