are the stt's even considered a at? i thought just the st was the at? either way the stt is a great looking tire. but i have also heard the tread wears super fast.

Yeah, i heard that about those tires also, they wear really fast, why I opted to try the BFGs all terrains instead.

stt's are not an a/t, no. they are made from a really soft compound so on a heavier truck they will wear in no time at all, on the rodo we had 20K on them when we decided to go to a a/t(lost ~80km/tank) and they had ~80% when we sold them(then i got the jimmy 2 month later... knew I should have added them to my collection of parts/tires)

Well me personally i have the Dakota A/T's from pepboys on my truck and they are great! My brother has them on his Suburban, My sister on her Tahoe and my friend on his Durango and they are like i said great but they are soft and wear down fast. But i did find out they are made for Cooper and Coopers tires do tend to do that. I know you dont think they are agressive enough but the BFG A/T's are incredible

if you are looking for a really aggressive all terrain go for the pro comp xterians. those are the closest to a mud tire you can get without getting mud tires. If you are looking for all around good all terrain tires I would look into the nito terra grapplers and them micheline ltx at2's. Both tires are rated good for all conditions on road and off. But if you are really looking for aggressive tires you probably want mud terrains. I've had bf goodrich and the dakota m/ts and they weren't aggressive enough for me. So now I have the dakota m/t's, they are surprisingly not that noisy and they come with a 40,000 mile warrenty
