Well i have never seen this style gmc rims painted blacke so i figured id try it out. Sanded them down primed and painted them.

Welcome to the stock black rim club lol. They look great though man. I haven't seen the GMC ones painted before, but they look great!

It was a gamble wether or not they would look good black but they do. Your blazer inspired me to paint my rims black.

does look real good... i wish i could find that grill without the gmc emblem onit for my 98 bravada...

back to topic both my bravadas have stock black wheels haha

Why do people think all black rims look so good? Those rims aren't that great stock and look horrible all black. I'm so sick of everyone painting every rim in the world all black. It hides what the rim looks like and you might as well just run a black steel wheel.

kinda harsh, but everyone is entitled to an opinion.

while i do agree with your thoughts on his wheels (personally, i think these are GM's worst rims designed for these truck-ever!), he did do a good job of them.

besides, there are plenty of wheels (stock & aftermarket) that are balck & look great. but then again, it all comes down to personal taste.
