i like the look of the tires, i think where i live there might be a law against it, but what cop is going to pull you over for something like that. lol

The one that's behind you in the rain..wider tires throw up a ridiculous amount of road spray...it's kinda fun to watch in the rear view...but it would suck to be behind me...

the only thing that im worried about is all the stuff getting thrown onto the the body, rocks and stuff like that. would getting your style rims in 15X7s help? wouldnt stick out so far is that correct?

Being only 1' wider than stock rim, with minimal offset, that should split the difference. 15x7s would only stick out .5' less. Also remember my tires are 10.7' wide...so there is a good chunk of rubber out past the rim still 235s would be much closer to rim-width track.

went to discount tire today and i can get a set of 235 75 15s for about 350. The only thing im confused about is the 75, the guy told me that it will be a little taller of a tire. still want to get either cragers or pro comps in 15X7s.
Any advanteges of steel or alloy wheels? Found a set of pro comps: 15X7s 4.5in backspacing, $55 a rim

That means your stock tire was 235/70/15s. The 70 or 75 is the aspect ratio..basically the height of the sidewall as a percentage to the width of the tire. So your new tires side wall is 75% as long as the width of the tire (235 mm). I dunno if my gallery is working...but I have some pics in there of my blazer with 235/75s on with the same 15x8 pro comp rims.
Alloy wheels should be lighter than a steel rim, yet stronger. They're also going to cost you alot more. The cragers and pro-comp 51/97 series are steel rims.

Gallery doesnt work. i shouldnt have any issues with the 235s on the 15X7 rim right?

not really. the only problem is with brand new tires, they're going to be the tallest they'll ever be, and with 4.5' or less of backspacing, you could rub fender. I never did, but my tires were pretty bald.

is there any rim where you wont have any issues with?! lol all i want is a nice lookin rim with no issues. should i just stick with the 235 70s? gurantee that i wont rub anywhere?

30x9.5s won't rub anywhere with stock spec'd rims. If you decrease the backspacing (6' stock, 4.5' on the cragers), you get into the potential for rub only when 1) full lock turn + 2) suspension compression (braking/bumps/driveways).
