Mine's just a year older than yours. I bought these IROCs off a friend a couple years ago for $100 for the set. I wanted the center caps and factory lugs mostly for my 85 IROC and to have wheels as a spare. I was going to refinish them but they're far from perfect. I was going to sell them but then had a 4x4 Jimmy I was going to put them on but sold that and then picked this up last year. I figured it was a good use for them. I need to sand the clear off as it's peeling pretty bad. They look OK from a distance but are ugly up close. If I can get the clear off and preserve the gray paint in the recesses I'll be happy. I picked up some chrome lug nuts and chrome center caps with no logo. The tires are 235/60/16 General Grabber UHP's, the same size as Blazer Xtremes have. I can't wait till I get my 3" drop on it so it'll look even better. I took off the mud flaps and put on a 94-97 smooth airdam since those pics last weekend. Hoping I can get the drop and SS mirrors on this weekend as well as my exhaust.

Zeeke, that is literally what i wanted to do. i'm still trying to decide whether to drop the money on a drop or not. I've been looking at those wheels forever and removing my roof rack because i never use it and its peeling really bad for some reason.

thanks Pat, i didn't know that GM had their own version of the ZQ8's (i thought they were called SS8's-that's what i was told years ago).
and i just found a set of these in Toronto for $150-complete! and apparently no damage to them-other than peeling.
only in the late 1st gen's Brad ('91 to '94).
WOW! that's like the third red truck on here lately that i find myself saying "nice!". not really a fan of red vehicles, don't know why, but your truck looks pretty sweet. maybe it's the bling'd out door handle (don't think i've ever seen them before).
maybe you should send a sent to Alex (Sisk) for his 2 door, i'm sure he'd luv it!

Chrome door handles from ebay. Some jackass tried to break into my truck over a month ago in Detroit when I was there for Autorama. They bent up the passenger door under the handle and messed up the handle. I had wanted these for my Sonoma but could never find them. $40 for the pair on ebay. I had just a stainless stick on overlay over the lever part of the handle that was leftover from the stainless buckets I put on my Sonoma. I'm not real big on red but it beats the hell outta green. I HATE green, yet have had 3 green S trucks! Seem to be the only ones in good shape for a good price.

South of Grand Rapids. Got my 3" drop and SS mirrors on this weekend. I'll have to get pics if it's not raining tomorrow. It won't be clean though.

Who needs clean? half of my photos are when my car is covered in road grime anyhow
