Default Gen 3 Z-28 wheels

Hey all,
I was checking out as many threads on this matter, but my Question is not answered, are the Z-28 wheels two different sizes front to rear?? (width)
or are they the same.. and if yes which would use
Thanks to all

I am pretty sure they are the same.... I would guess this as many 4x4 people use the IROC rims, which IIRC, the iroc z28 used iroc wheels, and thus the z28 wheels would be the same... (ps gen 3 camaros rock.... pps... all camaros rock!)

I like the look of willjones blazer, there are several others also,
but the look really sets the blazer off with those wheels

I'm pretty sure the rims are 16" both front and rear.

From someone who recently did a LOT of research on the subject (click the link in my sig), heres what I found.

1. The Iroc package was only offered from 85-90.
2. Iroc wheels were 16x8, except for the 1989 production year in which they were a 15x7
3. Front rims on the Irocs are marked as "front" and have a BS of 4.75, whereas rear rims have a BS of 5.25. The 1989 Iroc rims which were 15x7, had a matching front and rear BS of 4.75.
4. A few Z28 and RS rims from 91 and 92 also had the different front and rear BS.
5. The standard Z28 and RS rims (as seen on my Blazer), were 15x7 with 4.75 BS.

Standard 15x7 rims used on 82-90 RS and Z28 models. After 1990 a new caliper was introduced and this rim would not clear the calipers, so production of this rim was used on very few 91 and 92 RS models without the new calipers and were for the most part painted red or blue with silver spokes.

16x8 Iroc rims for 85-87

16x8 Iroc rims for 1988-1990 (Iroc model dropped after 1990)

15x7 Iroc optional rims for 1989, and as you can see they look identical to the 16x8 counterparts.

16x8 Rims used for 1991 and 1992 RS and Z28 models
