Default General Question about wheels...

I want black wheels for my 2004 2 door v6 blazer. i want generic black wheels... not rims. i need them cheap as well. can you show me the link to a good looking black offroad type wheel, for cheap. also a good size i should use, and the wheel bolt pattern.

just trying to figure out my whole setup, and am having trouble getting a response on a good buy, with the sizes. thank you!

so are you looking for a pure offroad tire? cause those can get pretty pricey and your not gonna want to run them on road cause they're going to wear really bad. or are you looking for an m/s tire that will have decent offroad tread but is still good on road

Default wheel

check out summitracing.com for there cragar soft 8 wheels. There something like 185 shipped for all 4 wheels. Cragar has some other cheaper wheels too if you don't like the soft 8 design.

that depends on your deffinition of "pricey"
Cragar Soft *'s <-- CLICKY are the standard baseline (pricewise) black replacement wheel. not too "rimmy" in appearance, and a lot of members run them.

ALSO, check craigslist for some older style (95-97) blazer rims (4x4 ONLY!!!) honeycomb style, or get a set of these VVV to paint black. Either way will save you $100 over the cragars AND UNLIKE THE CRAGARS they will have the correct 6" back spacing

the "steel wheel" style is common as spare rims for snow tires. they can be grabbed up in sets of 1's and 2's from a local junkyard since the spares were mounted on them.

***FROM THE OTHER THREAD LEADING YOU BACK HERE***
your rims are as follows:
15x7 5x4.75 (120mm) bolt pattern with 6" of Back Spacing the back spacing being the most important (after lug pattern so it will bolt on of course) aspect of what you should seek in a new rim. AS CLOSE to 6" as you can get! the way the rims sit now avoids contact with your frame/fender/sway bar
less back spacing = wheels will stick out further. Cool right? More agressive looking! nay sir. while it looks way WAY better, it will cause you all kinds of damn problems as any rubbing will happen SOONER (less wheel turn) before contact is made. <-- this will come into play more as you increase tire size (from say 235/75r15 up to 30x9.5 or 31x10.5 tires) but still worth noting now so when you change tires, you do not have to buy new rims also

look in what i wrote. there is a spot where i swapped * for 8. the part that says Cragar Soft *'s, it is red. scroll over it, it is a hyper link to a set that will fit and work
when you order them talk to a dude through thier phone # to make sure you get the 5 or 5.25" BS ones, not the common 4 or 4.5" ones. that is all you can do for soft 8's BUT it will be fine

while i may have been helpful, the fact of the matter is a number of people brought suggestions to you, and i was just the most active.

This forum is as good as it is because of the active participation of the members. We steer clear of Pm to individuals because it traps any useful information away from the genreal public. if we keep all questions/suggestions/help/fixes etc in the forum as a whole, you can refference back to it, others can find it, and the guy that googles "wtf m8" can actually find the "What the Fudge is actually up, mate" in the forums. It's just better all around.

One more thing, but come in close so others wont hear this... *whispers* I have a high post count but I'm kind of new at the whole 'fixing issues' thing.... shhh don't let that out.

*Normal Voice* ....so that's why those soft 8's will really do you right.
