good off road tires?
I currently have BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A's on my '96 Blazer. They are good tires but I am looking for something that gets better traction in the mud. Does anyone have any ideas of tires i could get?
Any number of Mud Terrian tires. I have heard decent to great things about the BF Mud Terrians and the Toyo Open Country MT's. Personally I would get the Toyo's since they look amazing.
i have the cooper discoverer s/t tire and its an agressive all terrian tire. but im like lenny ive heard good things about the bfg's, just becareful on a wet road because some mud terrians do not do to good on wet roads becuase of siping.

I am running firestone destination m/t's on my blazer and I like them a lot. They are an aggressive looking tire. They get great traction in mud. I have around 8,000-10,000 miles on them so far and they almost look brand new. They are also wearing very evenly.
The Goodyear MTRs wear HORRIBLY. I had two sets of them on my jeep. They worked amazing offroad, but were very poor on road. They wore very poorly on both sets. I thought that the first set was just a fluke, so I got another set since it was mainly an offroad truck, and got the same problems. I would go with the BFGs or the destination MT.
I have been shopping around and these are the cheapest I can find. They are Difinity Dakota M/T from pep boys. $440.00 for four 31x10.50 and they have very agressive tread.
