Question Goodyear DuraTrac tire.

Anyone running this tire on their S-10 Blazer? Looks like a good All terrain. Has good reviews from what I've read.

Either plan to run this tire, or the good old BFGoodrich AT

BFG makes a very good tire, I've never seen this particular one but I did have the AT on my blazer when I bought it, great tire.

I've been following this tire just a bit since they came out. Seems to be fantastic in the snow and equal to the BFG AT KO's in everything else. If/when they come out in a 33X10.5 they will more than likely be my next set of street tires. I have the KO's now and like them but really need something for the snow and my mudders just don't cut it in the snow.

I've ordered a set of these for my Blazer. Funny thing is that I have the same rim in the picture above.

I've been having issues since the first rotation on my BFG AT KOs - Radial pulling, cupping and not holding a balance. After a complete rebuild on the front end and new rims they HAVE FINALLY determined that the tires are defective - a year and a half later and 35,000 miles too... I'm getting an uncontested refund for the CURRENT price of the tires towards these. It was a good day this morning!

I am buying those tires tomorrow from Tire Rack...I get a nice discount since I work at a Dealership. I will post a thread with the new set-up, including pix.

NVANZEE,

If I were to buy the tires from Tire Rack personally, I would pay $130 a piece plus $75 shipping, which is outrageous because Tire Rack is 20 mins away from my house. Delaware has a weird law which makes them ship the tires unless you have a wholesale account. Anyway, I am getting the tires for $118 a piece and my parts guy is gonna pick them up for me. Which all together saves me about $100.

I'm getting the tires tomorrow but I don't know when I will get around to mounting them. I have to find time to paint my rims before I mount the tires.

?QUESTION?

Will these 31x10.50R15 mounted on the stock wheels rub on my 01 blazer?
I was told to get a 2" body lift by some dude on here, (which will come soon), but in the mean time, are the tires going to rub?

they will rub big time without the 2" lift. i would wait until you get the lift installed so you dont chew up your new tires.
