i need suggestions!!
im looking to buy new tires and rims, i know for sure im gonna get 15" rims with 4.5" backspacing so i get that wider stance. my question is, what is the biggest tire size i can put on without rubbing. im not lifting it in any way, pure stock. thanks in advance
30x10.50 would be fine with stock wheel backspacing. but if your not lifted your gonna have a hard time getting the stock size tireto not rub. bc i have a 2in lift and running 4in backcpace and i almost rub the fenders with my 235/75 r15. i could be wrong. i can take some pictures of mine 2morrow to show you how close mine are to rubbing.

but..
x2 on rubbing issues with 4.5' backspacing. 235/75/15 is about the biggest you'll clear with 4.5' backspacing. I have 30x10.50s on 4.5' bs rims, and rub offroad with a 2' body lift, and 2' shackles/tbar lift.
i found a set of 215/85/15's but i think that would be a really narrow tire and might look a little goofy with the added backspacing, what do you guys think? it's 28.7" in diameter which is only .7" taller than my stock tires but it only has a tread pattern of 6.6". that skinny would be good for gas mileage, snow, and mud. but i dont really go off roading very often? i dont know, help me out guys. i wanna decent looking urban 4x4
