My friend did this on his 89.
The backspacing on the rims is a bit funky, so the rear rims need a spacer. On the camaro, the front hubs sit narrower than the rear end. The front fits perfect on the Blazer, however. Not sure how it will be on the 2nd gen, but my guess is it'll have the same issue.

So i actually have 2 choices now on my local craigslist.

The first is the same set as Willjones

The second set is similar to the 85-87 Camaro

They'll bolt on with no spacers but will sit in a bit far on the rear. I have a set of IROCs waiting to go on my Blazer in the spring. I have a 3/8" spacer I'll probably put on to push them out a bit in the rear unless I can find two fronts or another full set for cheap.

awesome, thanks for the input. i'm still trying to decide which set i like more. The second set comes with a set of tires that will look good on the Blazer and the first set has tires but will need replacement sooner rather than later.

true although the 85 rims are only 16. I'm not looking for 20s, i just want something different than my stocks. They're just boring to me. plus, by having a second set of wheels, i can switch up winter/summer and customize my stocks the way i want to :-D

Yours is identical to mine except mine's an 03. I put older Blazer wheels on it for the winter. IROCs are going on for the summer.

They will bolt up but the problem will be backspacing on the fronts. I went as far as test fitting 1 245/75/16 on a stock height 2WD 00 Blazer LT with a single rib 85-87 16" IROC wheel. They would rub BAD on corner turns... Im fine with lock-to-lock rubs but this was unacceptable. Unfortunatley my test tire wasnt an aggressive tread tire (a/t or m/t) so I didnt bother taking a pic but it looked good.

I had 30x9.5 on my stock 15" Blazer wheels so thats why I went with a test tire of 245/75/16 which equals a bit bigger than 30x9.5. The additional backspace of the IROC wheels made it rub sonner than the Blazer wheels. I think if you go for this combo.. try starting with 235/75/16 or buy adapters (not spacers) to make up for the backspace difference.

Before the 30's, I had the Blazer dropped 4/4 with the IROCs but since the tires were 235/60/16's they were small enough to not cause a problem when turning. Sooo.. if THATS your intention.... it will work. You'll need adapters for the rears cause they will sit too deep into your wells without them.

Hope this helps.. and you you get the IROCs to fit with A/t's or M/T's, post some picks. Ive been dying to see how they look on a Blazer.

Oh i just ended up getting 30's for my Blazer wheels cause I couldnt pass up the $100 rebate from discount tire last week.

Backspacing is fine for a 2wd with a 29" tall or less tire. 4.5" BS is the same as the Xtreme and ZQ8 wheels. You need a lift if you're trying to fit anything bigger.
