Default off road tires

what is the best brand, looking for something that wont be to loud on the highway but still preforms well in the mud.

It has Been discussed many a time... some things to look at

Cooper STT
Maxxis Buckshot
Goodyear Wranglers

offroaders.com is a good site to read reviews those were just three that I have seen and were considering...

Also tire size limits to what you can do and what you can do, as we do not know your lift or anything

My ProComp Xtreme MT's are quiet on the highway. Zero issues with them.

My ProComp Xtreme A/T do great in the mud for an A/T tire. Quiet on the road and will have a long tread life from not being a M/T.

love my firestone destination A/T's. Been stuck once and that was cuz i was sitting on my frame and had piles of snow in front and behind due to the trails conditions.

goodyear wrangler authority are my choice. they have yet to get stuck since i have had them. with 13000miles on them, the hardly show any wear.

deffinity dakata a/t are good and fairly cheap at your local pep boys. they are quiet on the highway and go pretty good in the mud. plus they have a 40,000 mile warrenty. I think they are like $110 a tire for 31's so if you are getting stock 235's I think they are a little less than $100 a tire

Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's.

another member (papacope) already has these and luv's them. when i talked to him @ the end of September last year, he'd put 12,000 miles on them in 7 months, and swears he'll never put any other tire on his truck.

I got 31x10.5x15 kumho kl71 on my jimmy I use to have them on my jeep and absolutely love them everything Looks Feel Sound everything. My jimmy is stalk with a torsion bar crank and I haven't had any issues with rubbing. I definitely recommend these tires they have a tire that is same size as stock if you want that and are afraid of the rubbing. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....enture+MT+KL71
