Which Offset?

Hey there!

I have the chance to get a set of rims for my s10 Blazer (2000). I already know the size and width of this set. So it should fit. It is a set for S10 Blazer (1989 - 1993). But I need to know the offset of these, because there is no offset mentioned. In Germany we have several rules, that the rims and rubbers should not have to much negative offset, means should not stay out of the wheelhouse/wheelhousing
Attached you have a pic of these rims (1) and another pic, of how it should not look like in Germany (2). Second pic is just to show you meaning of negative offset, not about rim or rim size itself.

Thanks in advance

If they are factory wheels, then they will fit nicely inside the fenders. They will not hang out, as the ones in the photo do. Post pics after install. 👍

Will do so!

Yes, these will bolt up fine...as long as your 2000 is a 4x4. ;)

Bought the set today. And yes, I have a 4x4.
Will install them on thursday. Please do not expect new ones on the pictures. I' ll use them for light offroading to camp and fishing spots etc. and therefore they don't have to be polished or chromed.

Work done!
The rims fit, but I had to replace the glue sticked balance weights on the rims with clamped ones. Otherwise the brake would have scratched the sticked weights from the rims.
Next step will be wheel spacers (10mm on each front wheel and 30mm on each rear wheel).
And now some pics.
Custom rims are BBS Delta, usually produced for BMW with 9 1/2×17H2. Have had severe problems with steering, traction, etc. And no certificate for my Blazer. So I had to remove them. Now with the Federal Couragia A/T on these factory/OEM rims I can go much further. And I will have less fuel consumption and less problems with steering, worn out bushings and so on.

Sieht gut aus!

Kann ich mir denken, dass die 1st gen Felgen auf dem 2nd gen etwas knapp sind.
Gut das es gepasst hat. Schade, dass die Leute welche Felgen wechseln die originalen nie mitgeben.

Looks good! I also like the turn signal markers on the sides. Had thought about doing something similar to mine.

I noticed your bumper is a 1995-'97 styled bumper, in the US at least. Might be a European thing? Like the taillights. Those are awesome! I've only seen that style in pictures.
Those Beemer rims are sharp, too.
Nice rig all around.

Kampfzwerg 05-19-2018 11:48 AM

Due to many "senseless" laws :icon_confused:, Blazers made for Europe have these front and rear bumpers and rear lamps. Turn signal on the rear needs to be orange, only a few exceptions drive around with red ones. Same with orange sidemarkers (need to illuminate clear/white). So, there are a few differences.
Would like to add a lot of aftermarket accessoires, but I always need to check, if there are any regulations/restrictions here in Germany.
I' ll keep you updated!
