picking out a set of wheels
I'm still looking for a set of wheels for wifes 99 S/10 Blazer 4 dr. Sonoma OEM ( I realy like the looks of these ) wheels will stick out 2" more than the stock , right ? 15 X 6 Corvette Rally's with 4" back space will stick out 1" more than stock , right ? I would like to put something like a Crager S/S on it but I just can't make up my mind on how far I want a wheel to stick out and look right .
Thanks for any help .

Depends. Do you have 4x4 or 2wd? Assuming you have 4x4, they have close to the same backspacing as the Corvette and Camaro. If you're buying Sonoma rims off a 2 dig, they'll stick out approximately 2 inches.

are you going to add flares? dont forget that the tires will constantly throw goo all over the sides of the truck. if its messy out, it can make shoulder checking impossible. some places its illegal, and you can be ticketed ( i was ) and it can also chip up the paint too, buts thats obvious....not to mention its harder on all front end parts.
but heck, we do it anyway cause it looks sweet lol
oh and let me add you can kick up rocks alot easier hitting people behind you too...

It's a 4X4 . There just isn't anything that looks good with the stock backspace , A/R Outlaw II but I would like to stay away from the clear coated wheels . She don't put alot of miles on it and all paved roads . I've been thinking of Vintique Wheels 15 X 7 rally's with the 5.25" back space , I had them make me a set of rally's for a Malibu ( custom back space ) and had none of the problems I've read other guys have had .

After looking at wheels for 2 days I ended up going with A/R Outlaw II's from Jeg's $378.98 to the door .
