rim fitment problem...help pls
Hey, i just bought a 98 2wd blazer ls and it has universal 18's on it right now. I had someone at work with some 20's that came off a early 2000's model blazer extreme. I thought all the bolt patterns would be the same so i bought them. Got them home and for some reason the bolt pattern from the extreme is smaller then mine? Is this typical or should it have been the same? Any reason it would have been different. Hopefully i can get my money back for them. I just didnt realize 2 different years would have different bolt patters.

There isn't a different bolt pattern. Every s-series truck has the 5 on 4.75" bolt pattern.

thats what i figured. I have no idea why they would not fit then. Thats what my bolt pattern is. The ones that came off her blazer extreme are 5x 4.5 for some reason.

They don't happen to have two different sets of bolt holes in them do they?

well my guess is gonna be the other truck was using some aluminum adapters to change the bolt pattern to allow those to fit...i have a set in my garage that is for the same change goes from 5x4.75 to 5x4.50 if u wanna use them i would just get the adapters

You were right! I went and talked tO her husband and they had a set of adapters. They gave me them so I'm good to go now. Thanks for the input everyone.
