Rim Project

Rim Project
I have been working on refinishing a set of 92 Z28 Camaro wheels for a little over 3 weeks. Today I finally finished painting them, and I will be posting pics of them on the truck when they are done curing.
Here they are when I got them.
Here they are after sanding the red paint down and stripping the clear coat off the lip. I also polished the lip and star areas to a shine.
Then I taped them off and preped them for paint.
Here is the finished product with 2 coats of primer, 4 coats of color, and 3 coats of clear.
I used Duplicolor wheel coating for the color and the clear, and I used Duplicolors self-etching primer. It was a LOT of work, and a lot of time, but the final product looks amazing. The rims are 15x7's with 4.5" of backspacing. Let me know what you guys think.

I never liked those rims on the Camaros but I saw them on another Blazer and they looked pretty good. I think you'll be very happy with your hard work and how they'll look once you get them mounted.
